in this song i have sampled song lyrics in order to get my message across, i take the intended/original meaning of the words and twist them into my own story. the song first starts off with the Lil Wayne acapella that repeatedly says "shawty imma hit like i can't miss" which conveys that the man would take care of the female sexually since he is very attracted to her. then lil wayne then says "can't do this and can't do that" meaning that this man is willing to discuss important topics with the female such as what is "right" as well as "wrong" the female vocalist in sample sings something that means one separate thing, but i have chopped the sample into the message that i am trying to convey in the first half of this song......the looped sample says "shawty come on to a new-" meaning that, this man wants the female to come join him on spiritually/sexually driven friendship....the sample then says "let me explain" the man has only good intentions so me knows that he must explain himself before the female assumes that he is just like other men. (hence the abrupt sample change) the sample then says "come on to a new horizon" which means that the man is trying to simply explain that she, as well his himself, have nothing to lose as they embark on this new found "interest" in each other.
